The results of a Festival survey
2012-07-13 21:32:54

In May 2012, we conducted a survey in which viewers could suggest films worth presenting during this year's Film Festival Play Poland.

We have invited fans of Polish cinema, who live in cities such as Edinburgh, London, Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Belfast and Oxford, to express their opinions through voting.
The survey, prepared in two language versions, Polish and English, had a high number of responses. What is more, all voters could choose films from the list provided in the survey, as well as add their own suggestions.
The films which received the greatest number of votes are: "Sponsoring" directed by Margaret Szumowski, "Róża"(Rose) directed by Wojciech Smarzowski and “Baby są jakieś inne” (Man, Chicks Are Just Different) directed by Marek Koterski.
Two films which took part in the survey, i.e. "Rose" mentioned above and “It Looks Pretty from a Distance” directed by Anna and Wilhelm Sasnal will be screened during the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
The final list of films which will be presented at this year's Play Poland Film Festival will be published on our website and the catalogue.

We would like to thank everyone who has taken part in the survey.
