Jeschke’s paintings document the new emerging space, concrete landscapes
of cities, dominating, impractical slab block estates, dwelling
machines, garages that cover up the surface where humans circulate.
Jeschke’s canvases are filled with exploding natural volcanic landscapes
and modern landscapes that cannot be fully defined… The artist identifies
with the words of the concept of atmospheres by Gernot Bohme,
German 20th century philosopher … “in our condition we perceive the
surroundings and we introduce a certain mood into them”. Describing in
his individual way the embezzled environment, he makes the viewer turn
to the “breath from Mind membranes” - the eye. Jeschke paints the real
paradise, the paradise on Earth, realistic paradise…? He surprises the
viewer with a series of paintings that seem to have come out from the
microscope. Realistically painted unicellular organisms draw attention
to the least perceivable domain of everyday, close, natural phenomena.
